BLEDUG KUWU, Grobogan Regency

This tourist attraction is located in Kuwu Village, Kradenan Sub District, and Grobogan Regency, Central Java. It is about 28 km to the East of Purwodadi City. The uniqueness of this tourist attraction is about the pop mud in which the water contains salt although this place is located quite far from the sea. It is said that according to folklore, the pop mud came from a hole that connects the place with the South Sea. The hole itself occurs from the journey of Joko Linglung from the South Sea towards the kingdom of Medang Kamolan. Because the place contains salt, it is often used by the local people used to make salt traditionally.(Translate : Intan Mustika Sari)

WAICAK, Magelang Regency

It is a Buddhist holiday commemorating the birth and death as well as Prince Sidhartha Gautama reached the Supreme Enlightenment and then became Buddha. The event is held at Mendut, Pawon and Borobudur which is located in Magelang District. The ceremony is held on full moon nights Sidhi, beginning with the race to read the holy book of Dharma Padha. The procession begins at Mendut ceremony on May 27, 2010 (night) until the date of May 28, 2010 (morning) through walking around the Borobudur temple as much as three times by the monk and Buddhist. The interesting thing about the procession is the bringing of worship means in the form of Fruit, Water, Fire, religious holy Buddha objects, Relics of the Buddha, the Scriptures, Red and White Flag, Flag of the Buddhists, and also the banner of the Assembly with the hope that the nation and country can be more blessed by the God Almighty.(Translate : Intan Mustika Sari )

REPTILES PARK, Purbalingga Regency

The tourist attraction of Reptiles and Insects Park which have a collection of hundreds of animals from within and outside the country is located in Karangbanjar Village, Kutasari Sub District, and Purbalingga Regency, Central Java. The park that is covering approximately 2 hectares park has a collection of thousands of insects including the unique ones. From the species of reptiles, there are crocodiles, cobras, monitor lizards, lizards and iguanas. This tourist attraction is a very suitable place to introduce children/ students about the world of animal. In this place they can see and learn more about the world of reptiles and insects, through such the complete collection of available libraries. In this way, they will not be afraid anymore to see the reptiles directly. GAJAH MUNGKUR DAM, Wonogiri Regency

Gajah Mungkur is located in about 2, 5 Km to the Southern Wonogiri City or 35 Km to the Southern Surakarta City. The harmonious chic of natural scene, the beautiful and cool weather with Apung Restaurant, Keramba, Hotel, Restaurant, and the water tourist recreation arena: such as bending, riding a dugout, and fishing make Gajah Mungkur to become the right and comfortable place to release some tiredness and take a rest with relatives. REBES BAKING SALTY EGG, Brebes Regency

Brebes baking salty egg is made from a duck egg (bebek, Javanese). It is such a special food from the tourist destination of Brebes Regency. The salty egg-making located in Limbangan Wetan Village, Brebes sub-district is just a simple one, that is by coating the duck egg with kind of dough made from the mixture of some clay, water, scouring sands, and sea salt approximately with the thickness of 1 cm. Next, the egg should be placed in some place or a chest for 14 days or 2 weeks. Afterward, the egg needs to be cleaned from the clay layer and be finished with baking process. A specialness of the salty duck egg is about the cooking through baking process. With this process, the salty duck egg can be kept longer; the egg nutria can be more maintained, the egg skin will be rough and dry, having a characteristic flavor, rich of omega-3 and protein. The price of the baking salt duck egg in Brebes is between Rp2.200, - until Rp3.000, -/egg(translate : Intan Mustikasari).
