Ketoprak is a Javanese traditional folk drama played by a cast of artist accompanied by the sound of the gamelan orchestra.

Mahakarya Borobudur colossal dance is held three or four times a year. It takes place in open stage of Aksobya right on the foot of Borobudur temple. This danced-drama is created by some artists from Indonesian Art Academy-Solo which takes episode about Borobudur temple development in Syailendra dynasty in 8th century.
